Frequently asked questions
Consultations, booking, aftercare, Spanish-language appointments and what to expect at Dream Aesthetics & Wellness in Fresno.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. Every treatment starts with a free consultation, with no obligation to book.
Can I book in Spanish?
Yes. Call or text (559) 338-5503 and we’ll answer in Spanish. Sitio en español.
What should I do before my appointment?
Come with clean skin if you can, and bring a list of your medications and supplements. Before injectables, ask your doctor whether you can pause blood-thinning supplements to reduce bruising. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, tell us when you book.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can by text or call at (559) 338-5503, or through your Square confirmation. Our current policy is shown when you book online.
What are your hours?
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, by appointment.
What’s the difference between a spa and a med spa?
A day spa offers relaxation services like facials and massage. A med spa offers medical aesthetic treatments, such as neurotoxin (Dream uses Jeuveau), fillers and resurfacing, performed or overseen by licensed medical providers. At Dream, your treatment is with a nurse practitioner.
Are med spas worth it?
For the right treatment and provider, many people find them very worthwhile. Choose a licensed provider, ask questions, and expect honest guidance, including when a treatment isn’t right for you.
Do results last?
It depends on the treatment: neurotoxins like Jeuveau typically last about three to four months, fillers several months to over a year, and skin treatments build over a series. Results vary.
Do you offer Botox?
Most people say Botox. Araceli uses Jeuveau, an FDA-approved neurotoxin for frown lines that works the same way; the Botox brand itself isn’t offered. About Jeuveau.
What do I do after Jeuveau (Botox-style) treatment?
Stay upright for about four hours and skip workouts for the day. Full aftercare guide.
What about after filler?
Expect some swelling for a few days; avoid heavy exercise, alcohol and pressure on the area for 24 hours.
And after Opus, microneedling or PRP?
Gentle cleansing, a bland moisturizer and strict sun protection. You’ll receive written instructions.
