Vampire facial (PRP microneedling) in Fresno

PRP microneedling, often called a vampire facial, pairs microneedling with platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, for smoother texture, softer fine lines and a healthy glow. Done with sterile, single-use tips by a licensed nurse practitioner.

Safety first

Your own plasma, handled properly

A small amount of your blood is drawn, like a routine lab draw, and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Your skin is then microneedled, creating tiny channels, and the PRP is applied so it can work into the skin as it heals.

Because PRP comes from your own blood, safety is about technique: proper blood handling, sterile equipment and single-use needle tips. Your treatment is performed by a licensed nurse practitioner in a medical suite, and every patient gets new, sealed supplies.

“Vampire Facial” is a trademarked name; you’ll also see this treatment called PRP microneedling. Results vary.

How much a vampire facial costs

PRP microneedling is priced per session, and many people choose a series of three. Your exact price is confirmed at your free consultation; see current specials.

Vampire facial or HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a deep-cleansing, hydrating facial with no downtime: a great refresh. PRP microneedling works deeper, stimulating collagen for longer-term changes in texture and lines, with a day or two of redness. They do different jobs.

PRP or exosomes?

Both are applied after microneedling. PRP comes from your own blood; exosomes are a lab-prepared booster that needs no blood draw. Neither is “better” for everyone; see microneedling with exosomes or PDRN to compare.

Downtime

Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for one to two days, sometimes light flaking after. Skip makeup for 24 hours and use gentle skincare and sunscreen.
