How much dermal fillers cost
Filler is priced per syringe, and the number of syringes depends on the areas and how much structure you need. Cheeks often take one to two syringes; chin and jawline can take more. This month’s special is shown on this page and on our specials page, and your exact plan and price are confirmed at your free consultation.
How long filler lasts
Most HA fillers last around 9 to 18 months depending on the product, the area (areas that move less hold filler longer) and your metabolism. Results vary.
Filler for mature skin
With mature skin the priority is structure and skin quality rather than filling every line. Support in the cheeks and temples, a modest amount at the jawline and smoother skin from treatments like Opus Plasma or microneedling usually look more natural together than a lot of filler alone. For significant skin laxity, filler has limits, and Araceli will say so.
Downtime and bruising
Expect some swelling for a few days and possibly bruising, especially in the first 48 hours. Most people return to work the same or next day. Plan treatment at least two weeks before a big event.
Is filler reversible?
HA filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed, and Araceli offers it: see filler dissolving. Treatment around blood vessels carries rare but serious risks, which is why anatomy knowledge and careful technique matter; you’ll review risks at your consultation. Looking for gradual collagen support rather than gel? Ask about Sculptra.
Thinking about a longer-lasting change? For lifting that filler can’t provide, surgical options are available with Dr. John F. Burnett, MD, in the same suite.
