How much hair restoration costs in Fresno
Hair restoration with microneedling and exosomes is priced per session, and most people do a series. This November it’s $699 for one treatment, or $1,849 for a series of three (see November specials). PatientFi financing is available; ask about monthly payment options. Your exact plan and price are set at your free consultation, before anything is booked.
How many sessions will I need?
Hair grows slowly, so this is a series, not a single visit. Many people start with three treatments spaced several weeks apart, then decide on maintenance based on how their scalp responds. Araceli recommends a plan at your consultation.
Does it work? The honest answer
- The research is early. Microneedling for thinning hair has been studied more than exosomes have, and some studies report improved density when it’s combined with other treatments.
- Exosomes are not FDA-approved for hair loss. They’re used as a booster, and expectations should be kept modest.
- Results vary. Patience matters: changes, when they happen, take months to judge. Nobody can promise a specific result.
Straight talk: if a clinic promises a full head of hair or guaranteed regrowth, ask what they base it on. That claim isn’t supported by the evidence.
Check in with your doctor first
Thinning hair can be a sign of something else going on, like thyroid changes, low iron, hormone shifts or a medication side effect. If you haven’t had a check-up or lab work recently, that’s worth doing alongside, or before, any scalp treatment. Araceli will ask about your health history and medications at your consultation.
Who is a good candidate?
Candidacy is decided at your consultation. Scalp microneedling generally isn’t right if you have an active scalp infection, open sores or certain skin conditions on the scalp, and blood thinners can affect the plan. It also isn’t used for scarring types of hair loss without a diagnosis first. If it’s not a fit, you’ll hear that directly.
PRP or exosomes for hair?
| Booster | What it is | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Exosomes | A lab-prepared booster applied after microneedling | No blood draw; research for hair is early; not FDA-approved for hair loss |
| PRP | Platelet-rich plasma from a small sample of your own blood | More studied for hair; needs a blood draw; also off-label |
Not sure which fits you? Ask at your consultation. For your face, see microneedling with exosomes or the vampire facial (PRP). Prefer Spanish? Lee esta página en español.
